We’re very pleased to announce the start of Small Group Training at Advance Physical Therapy! This new offering will take your journey to a new level. You don’t need to be a patient to join, however, we can combine your physical therapy program with more exercise and resistance training.
Once our patients are feeling & moving better, they’re often confused about what to do next. Are they immediately prepared to return to sports or activities they once loved? What about running, or hiking, or joining a gym? Which classes might be appropriate?
We believe small group training is a wonderful solution. Phil DeNigris is a Strength & Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer and Massage Therapist. He is a credentialed by the Postural Restoration Institute as a Postural Restoration Trainer (PRT). Phil is uniquely qualified to work with individuals of any level of fitness. He is able to combine a physical therapy program with appropriately designed exercises.
What is it: A group of 2-5 people lifting weights, exercising, and having fun in a supportive, safe environment. Small group training combines the customized planning of personal training with the accessibility of group fitness. The best of both worlds!
Who is it for: Anyone! The class structure can account for people with any level of fitness or experience lifting weights. Phil will tailor exercises to supplement your existing physical therapy or home exercise program
How does it work: Drop-in’s are always welcome. Call APT at (919) 932-7266 to sign up. If you’re interested in trying a class, feel free to contact Phil ahead of time for a complimentary assessment. This will allow him to integrate your physical therapy into the class structure, and make better informed choices based on your medical history.
