Another APT Therapist Certified in Schroth-Based Scoliosis Rehabilitation

As she returns to work after spending 9 days in Steven’s Point Wisconsin this month studying the powerful method of Schroth-based Scoliosis rehabilitation, Lisa is excited to start applying her new knowledge. She had a great time learning from her experienced instructors (above), as well as her young teachers, the teenagers with scoliosis, who graciously let her class practice their new manual techniques. It was also enlightening to see the teen’s before and after photos demonstrating their hard work and curve improvements!

Lisa is one of a few clinicians in the country with the unique combination of certifications in pediatrics and postural restoration as well as training in NDT and the Schroth Method for scoliosis. Lisa's interest include, but are not limited to: the prevention of surgery in children with scoliosis (combining both Schroth and PRI principles), performance improvement in young athletes, children with undiagnosed pain that has proven to be difficult to manage with traditional forms of physical therapy and gross motor incoordination/ gross motor delay.

If you are not familiar with the area, Legion Road is just a few minutes away from our present location. Our new suite is located on the ground floor, with no stairs to navigate! It is in the heart of a robust shopping and residential area and yet feels very wooded, private, and easy to access. We will begin seeing patients at our new location on Monday, December 16th, 2024. We look forward to seeing you in our new space!
