For Patients with Scoliosis
X-ray imaging can be very helpful for your therapist to develop a care plan for your unique situation. However, if you do not have x-rays, or don’t want to have x-rays, they are not required to start your care. For our younger, growing patients, x-rays are an essential part of care. Your therapist can advise you further if getting x-rays will be necessary to support your treatment planning.
If you already have x-rays, please forward x-ray images prior to visit if possible and bring to the initial visit. We recommend 2 views of the spine, from the base of the head to the hip joints.
- Back to Front View (preferable when possible, as opposed to front to back view)
- Side View
