The concept of “posture “Good” Posture is frequently misunderstood. Teachings based on rigid postural concepts often contribute to overwork, tension, pain and dysfunction. This session examines an approach to posture we all should have received as children and make up the foundation of Postural Restoration and the approach of Advance Physical Therapy and Fitness — but it’s never too late! We will explore how breathing and positional sense can change the game for improved postural balance in your body. We will challenge common myths about “good posture” with an intention for all participants to understand how to work smarter, not harder — regardless of the body you are working with. If you can breathe and feel your body, you can make changes that are easier than you might think.
