At Advance Physical Therapy we use Manual Therapies to support your Postural Restoration physical therapy program. The use of Manual Therapies timed appropriately in a treatment program can help greatly to alleviate acute pain, reset the nervous system particularly in cases of chronic pain and promote movement capacity required for long term postural improvement and function. Manual therapies include hands-on techniques like: Postural Restoration Specific Manual Techniques, Counterstrain and Positional Release, Dry Needling, Kinesiotaping, Joint and Soft Tissue Mobilization, Myofascial, Connective Tissue and Lymphatic Massage. Many of our therapists possess advanced training and certification in several Manual Therapies.

Teletherapy is great!
— Madeline Young, Chapel HillDue to Covid-19, like everyone else, I had to stop my PT appointments. After several months, APT informed me that Medicare was now going to pay for Teletherapy. I immediately “signed up” and am so thankful I did. The sessions are actually the same as in person. My therapist, Molly Miller, is excellent and uses Teletherapy as well as in-clinic appointments (only when necessary).
She can accurately assess and diagnose using Teletherapy just as in person. Teletherapy is so easy and convenient – no driving to appointment parking, waiting for your appointment time. Teletherapy is great – try it, you’ll like it!
