At Advance Physical Therapy we use Manual Therapies to support your Postural Restoration physical therapy program. The use of Manual Therapies timed appropriately in a treatment program can help greatly to alleviate acute pain, reset the nervous system particularly in cases of chronic pain and promote movement capacity required for long term postural improvement and function. Manual therapies include hands-on techniques like: Postural Restoration Specific Manual Techniques, Counterstrain and Positional Release, Dry Needling, Kinesiotaping, Joint and Soft Tissue Mobilization, Myofascial, Connective Tissue and Lymphatic Massage. Many of our therapists possess advanced training and certification in several Manual Therapies.

Geriatric Teletherapy for Back Pain
— Rosamond Shillito, Pittsboro, NCI have been working with Molly for at least three years related to chronic back pain and now due to the COVID 19, we are working via ZOOM. I am not a technical person, but have found this to be a special way of having our PT sessions. We are able to go over exercises by moving the computer as needed. Molly’s kindness, her concern, thoughtfulness and knowledge are very comforting and encouraging.
