Small Group Training at Advance Physical Therapy
This offering will take your health and fitness journey to a new level, combining your physical therapy program with exercise and resistance training.
Once patients are feeling & moving better, they’re often confused about what to do next. Are they immediately prepared to return to sports or activities they once loved? What about running, or hiking, or joining a gym? Which classes might be appropriate?
Phil DeNigris is a Strength & Conditioning Coach, Massage Therapist, and a practitioner credentialed through the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI). He is uniquely qualified to work with individuals of any level of fitness and combine a physical therapy program with appropriately designed fitness exercises.
What is it: A group of 2-6 people lifting weights, exercising, and having fun in a supportive, safe environment. Small group training combines the customized planning of personal training with the accessibility of group fitness – the best of both worlds!
Who is it for: The class structure can account for people with any level of fitness or experience lifting weights. Phil will tailor exercises to supplement your existing physical therapy or home exercise program.
How does it work: Sign up for a single class or find out about our Small Group Training packages. If you’re interested in trying a class, please “Meet with Phil” ahead of time for a complimentary assessment. This will allow him to integrate your needs and challenges into the class structure, and make better informed choices based on your medical history.

Do I need a physical therapy referral?
Nope! These sessions are for anyone—whether you’re post-PT or just starting out.
What should I bring to a session?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. We provide everything else.
Can I pay per session?
Absolutely. Packages are discounted, but pay-as-you-go is always an option.
