
Katie Lang, DPT
Katie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania.
In 2001, she graduated from Albion College in Michigan with a B.A. in Biology and Anthropology. Although she enjoyed working as a Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati and later at the University of Pittsburgh, she was drawn to the profession of physical therapy because of its unique combination of evidence-based healthcare and personal interaction that promotes personal growth and healing.
Katie's experience and interest is manual orthopaedic physical therapy.
She has a special passion for sports physical therapy based on her own experiences
as an athlete.
Additionally, Katie is incorporating concepts of Postural Restoration into
her practice as she identifies postural sources of dysfunction and their
contribution to acute injuries, chronic pain, and chronic health conditions.
