In our Wellness Series we offer classes in Core Stabilization, Yoga, Feldenkrais, Meditation, and Sensory Awareness.
Because our instructors are health practitioners, these classes are suitable for people needing modified exercise regimens, as well as for those interested in a weekly exercise practice.

Core Stabilization: A Flatter Stomach, A
Longer Life with Joe Belding,
PT. Explore the anatomy and the kinesiology of the abdominals and learn
a series of exercises that can flatten the stomach, stabilize the trunk
and improve postural alignment. Suitable for any age or skill level. $15.00.

Meditation As A Life Skill with Toni Stevens, CBP, RMT. Meditation is when the body and mind are still and the heart is open. Practical, simple instruction in being comfortable and awake during meditation, overcoming obstacles, and maintaining balance in our daily lives. No experience is necessary. People of all ages and physical abilities are welcome. $60.00 for a series of 5 classes. Call for next series.
Feldenkrais 'Awareness Through Movement'
with Chris Hagenberger, PT and Feldenkrais Practitioner. People experience
well-organized movement as easy, efficient and elegant. Awareness Through
Movement classes facilitate the refinement of personal organization. Focusing
on the skeleton in basic movements, and the quality of movement, the student
finds new options to replace patterns that are restrictive or uncomfortable
and rediscovers a balanced and harmonious way of moving.
Chris Hagenberger blends ten years work in the Feldenkrais Method with
a long and varied career as a Physical Therapist. A 1970 graduate of the
Physical Therapy Curriculum at Duke University, she has experience in
acute care, geriatrics, home health, and rehabilitation.
Her discoveries, following an automobile accident in 1992, led her to
Feldenkrais work and completion of four years professional training in
the Method in 1996. Her practice includes Awareness Through Movement classes
and individual Functional Integration Lessons for all ages and levels
of ability. Classes every Monday at 10:00am.
The Road to Skillful Means: From Preventing
Burnout to Becoming an Effective Leader with Teri Beckman.
This class is designed to provide specific tools to prevent burnout and
cultivate effective leadership. Discover how to work with time and maintain
joy in your life. Learn ways to bring your own innate leadership abilities
and knowledge to the foreground to immediately improve your conditions

Kum Nye Yoga Class: Opening to Feeling and to the Power
of Breath with Teri Beckman and Javier Rockwell.
Kum Nye is an ancient and gentle healing system that
fosters harmony and a deep inner relaxation. Kum Nye
is a natural tool for deepening meditation. Kum Nye
sitting practices, breathing exercises, self-massage,
and movement exercises generate a flow of energy. Ku
(sKu) refers to the subtle energy system inside the
human body, while Nye (mNye) refers to the internal
massage that can activate this flow. By stimulating
relaxation, integration, and transformation of body
and mind, Kum Nye exercises recharge and revitalize
